Rewards

At Northfield we believe that the children should be rewarded for good behaviour and good work. 

Merit Awards

Merit awards are awarded for good pieces of work. Children work towards gaining their Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum badges. Merit badges are celebrated in our Friday Celebration Assembly. 

Team Points

Each child is placed in a house team, Rubies, Emeralds, Diamonds or Sapphires. Team points are collected for good manners, upholding the school values and good behaviour. In our Friday Celebration Assembly we add up the weekly points and the winning team of the week has an extra 10 minutes lunch-time play. 

Raffle Tickets

Raffles tickets are given at lunch-time in the dining room. These are given for good manners, health eating and trying new foods. Raffles tickets are drawn in Friday Celebration Assembly and a small prize can be selected. 

Gold Awards

Each week the class teacher choose one child for the Gold Award. These are awarded in Friday Celebration Assembly and a small prize can be selected. 

Button Badges

Class school councillors award a button badge each week in Friday celebration Assembly for a child in thier class who has upheld the weekly school value. 

Ceritifcates 

Children earn certificates for various different reasons. Completing the Times Table or reading Challenge levels, completing levels on Times Tables Rockstars, completing levels on Lexia and many more.
